简介:
The 电子游戏软件 国际电子游戏正规平台 (IS) Program invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of the Practice, 专注于国际经济. 这是全职的, non-tenure-track, 长期的位置, 从一个可续签的3年合同开始. It includes a pathway to promotion to the rank of Associate Professor of the Practice (without tenure) and to Professor of the Practice (without tenure). The specific area of expertise is open, but it should be international or global in scope. The teaching load will be five undergraduate courses per year, some of which may be cross-listed in the 经济学 Department or other academic programs, as suited to the 教师 member’s disciplinary training. The appointment will begin in July 2024, with teaching duties beginning mid-August 2024. 

We seek a candidate who can contribute to the IS Program and the 莫大学 of Arts & Sciences by providing excellent teaching informed by scholarship; engaged advising and mentoring to the diverse 学生 in the IS Program; and service across the university. The successful candidate will teach a range of courses for IS majors and minors at the 2000- or 3000-level, 包括一门方法课程.g. statistical methods 在经济学), as well as a senior research seminar for IS majors. (The required introductory “Principles of 经济学” core course is taught exclusively by 经济学 Department 教师.) They will serve as academic advisor and thesis advisor to IS majors, 并担任IS项目的学术顾问委员会成员.

Ph值.D. 在经济学, 政治科学, 公共政策, 社会学, or a related field is required and must be conferred before August 31, 2024. We welcome candidates who have professional experience outside of the academy, but all candidates must show evidence of excellence in undergraduate teaching.
