Launched in Fall 2021, the Department of 工程 offers a Human-Centered 工程 major (B.S. 在工程). The program positions students to tackle the technological, 人类, and societal dimensions of major global challenges in health, 能源, 还有环境 by integrating 电子游戏软件’s liberal arts foundation, engineering science and fundamentals, 创业实践, 设计与系统思维, and service-oriented project experiences. Our goal is to prepare students to become engineers for a better world. Applicants must possess a doctorate in an engineering discipline by the start date of the position. We seek faculty candidates who are committed to innovative undergraduate engineering education, and driven by a desire to have a positive impact in both the academy and the wider society. Successful candidates will demonstrate potential for innovative curriculum development, excellence in teaching and mentoring of undergraduate students, and will be committed to creating inclusive and equitable learning opportunities for all students.
